Meaning Behind the Enblem

Our emblem draws inspiration from the Hmong soul lock and the elephant foot (ko taw ntxhw) — two sacred motifs that carry generations of meaning, protection, and resilience.

The Hmong soul lock —symbolizes spiritual grounding and connection, safeguarding the soul and honoring the unbroken bond between body, mind, and spirit. Four hearts combine to make the elephant foot representing heart-centered strength, wisdom, and stability.

Reimagined as an infinity loop with a keyhole, the interwoven design represents the continuous journey of healing and transformation, while the keyhole signifies unlocking the mind’s infinite capacity for growth and balance.

At its heart, the symbol honors the interconnectedness of all people — particularly those in marginalized and disadvantaged communities — whose shared resilience forms the foundation of collective healing.

“When ancestral wisdom meets the mindful descendant, a powerful merge of healing takes place. Mindfulness draws on the strength and resilience of the past and empowers us in the present moment to dismantle pain and trauma. It is in the present moment, which the future stems from. All interwoven.”
